Hi Peter,
There is a post-trial motion pending in 612997/2019 (Sadowski v South Nassau Communities Hospital) in which the issue of whether $1.22m is excessive for loss of parental guidance for a girl who was 15 when her father died has been briefed by both sides. You should be able to get it on NYSCEF.
