I had a defense verdict with Justice Toussaint about 2 years ago. She was fine as long as deference was given along with timely responses to her requests (verdict sheet and request to charge)
There was nothing challenging about the law to require in depth analysis and a ruling. It was a standard medical malpractice case with an alleged delay in diagnosis of leukemia

Good morning,
I took a verdict in front of this judge 5 years ago and found her to be absolutely awful. She knew very little about the law, rules of evidence, trial practice or medical malpractice. Has anyone taken a verdict in front of her in the last 5 years. I am hoping that with some experience maybe things have gotten better in her courtroom?
