During closing arguments and the judges charge, the jurors were making notes which they have been doing throughout the trial. Then, the jury was permitted to take the notes into the jury room with them.
I have never had this happen on any other case and wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I am wondering if a mistrial is in order? Thanks for any feedback on your experiences with regard to jurors note taking.
When the judge heard that the jurors wanted, read backs, he said that will take too much time. Lets just give him the transcript.
