I am on trial with John so I would appreciate the same plus anyone’s impression of Dr. Bottino

We think that, while the names are redacted, we have 2 affirmations from him
I my last trial I had the same and was allowed (without objection) to question the expert on anything in he said or didn’t say in it (almost like why he did not use a different font)
I know that Brian Schochet will say that I can only cross-examine if I establish a direct inconsistency (he already objected on that basis to John’s use of a deposition of a “non-party” daughter who relied on a lack of recollection at trial on a certain issue when she recalled it at her dep.) .
It seems that we should be allowed to ask the expert why he said something in is affirmations or why left somethign out.
any thoughts?????????
