Looking for an attorney who has sued health insurance carrier for denial of necessary care.
Apparently, per HSS physicians, Aetna has a blanket policy of denying authorization for various spine surgeries(not experimental).
HSS MD said it was business fraud-willing to testify.
Client was required to put off surgery, wait until they could switch insurers, who quickly approved same surgery.
Because of the delay, surgery was much more complicated with resulting sequalae. Like always there are other issues.
Thanks
Jeff
