A friends family member brought a baby into an ed in CT over concern regarding a bruise. Child services got involved and the children of the couple were removed from the family. It has been a nightmare with the mother undergoing testing and confirmation of an underlying blood disorder possibly causative to the bruising on the infant.
Family wants an atty re: investigation into issues with the decision making by the hospital. Kids are with a gmom and parents have been told md affirmation on hem issue may resolve the whole thing.
